Debi Berger Rescues Starving, Abused Dog in North Carolina

While driving down Highway 1 in South Carolina one day, Debi Berger noticed something moving in a ditch on the side of the road. Unable to simply keep driving, she pulled over to see what it was – and she was glad she did. Lying on the ground, attempting to drink from a plastic bottle of old motor oil, was a pit bull. The dog was so emaciated and weak, he couldn’t even stand on his own.
